Description
Oracle is hiring a Core Infrastructure Software Engineer to design, develop, and operate highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant microservices across control-plane, connectivity, distributed-systems data-plane, and Linux-daemon technologies. The role involves performance and load testing, resiliency configuration, telemetry, alerts, runbooks, fault-injection testing, data replication, on-call support, automation, and troubleshooting while following security and compliance procedures. Candidates need at least three years of systems or application development and distributed-systems or backend development experience, a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related engineering field, and familiarity with distributed-systems concepts such as CAP, consensus, messaging, and high availability.
