Description

G-Research is hiring a Core Infrastructure Engineer in London to own and operate foundational engineering services supporting the firm's research and engineering teams. The role focuses on infrastructure automation, CI tooling, Active Directory, Windows and Linux administration, Terraform Enterprise, Jenkins, service reliability, monitoring, documentation, and on-call support in a quantitative finance environment.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Experience operating and automating infrastructure services in an enterprise environment
Experience across Windows and Linux environments, including Windows Server and Active Directory administration
Experience with Jenkins pipeline management and administration
Experience managing self-hosted application platforms, including upgrades, patching and monitoring
Proven experience owning services end to end, including deployment, monitoring, incident response and improvement
Preferred Qualifications: Strong infrastructure as code skills and interest in AI-driven infrastructure management
Experience with inventory or CMDB platforms, Terraform or HCL literacy, certificate management, Kubernetes, and Linux desktop support
