Description
The Reimbursement Liaison supports Glaukos’ physician practices and patients by educating healthcare professionals on reimbursement policies, benefit verifications, prior authorizations, claims, coding, copay assistance, appeals, and drug acquisition. The role collaborates with patient support specialists, monitors payer trends and coverage gaps, manages communications with internal stakeholders, and helps remove barriers to patient access. It requires a bachelor’s degree, at least eight years of specialty pharmaceuticals or surgical devices experience, and at least three years of direct reimbursement or healthcare policy experience, with extensive payer, specialty pharmacy, and complex authorization experience.
