Description

TD is seeking an experienced Communications Professional to lead strategic communications for their Finance portfolio. This role involves designing and executing integrated communication programs, strengthening executive visibility, providing strategic communications counsel to senior leaders, drafting compelling communications materials, and delivering end-to-end communications support for various engagements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in corporate communications, journalism, or a related field, preferably with a background in financial services.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 7-10+ years of experience in corporate communications, journalism, agency, or a related field
experience in financial services preferred.
Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling communications across a range of channels and formats.
Experience leading and developing exceptional executive communications, social media, and/or thought leadership programs.
Keen interest and understanding of issues impacting TD’s clients, colleagues, communities and stakeholders.
Experience managing issues, working with media outlets and financial reporters to share and amplify key narratives.
Demonstrated experience advising senior leaders with sound judgment and credibility.
Proven ability to operate effectively in a complex, fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Diversity & Inclusion topics is an asset.
