ALDI is hiring a full-time Corporate Counsel II for its Regulatory Affairs team in Aurora, Illinois. The role advises business leaders on federal and state regulatory matters affecting retail operations, including sustainability and environmental compliance, packaging, extended producer responsibility, waste and recycling, climate-related obligations, weights and measures, pricing, promotional practices, product labeling, consumer protection, and other compliance issues. The attorney will monitor legislative and regulatory developments, engage with agencies and stakeholders, manage outside counsel, draft compliance guidance and agreements, and help implement risk-mitigation strategies. The position requires a bachelor's degree, a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school, Illinois licensure or immediate ability to become licensed, and at least five years of progressive legal experience; domestic travel of up to 10% is required.
