Description
The Inmate Custody Officer will provide custody, security, and discipline for inmates at the Wilkinson County Correctional Facility in Woodville, Mississippi. Responsibilities include searching for contraband, counting and supervising inmates, maintaining records, observing inmate safety, and intervening in inappropriate behavior. The role is full-time for 12 hours, pays $19.00 per hour, and requires a Mississippi or Louisiana driver's license with an acceptable driving record; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Annual in-service training is required after hire.
