Description
The Ohio Department of Youth Services is hiring a Case Manager (Correctional Program Specialist) to serve on the unit management team at Indian River JCF. The role plans and delivers habilitative programming, including case planning, individual and group engagement, crisis intervention, discharge and reentry planning, family and community liaison, visitation management, Interdisciplinary Treatment Team participation, documentation, and compliance with federal, state, and local requirements. Candidates need relevant social, behavioral science, criminal justice, or human services experience or an associated core program, along with counseling, rehabilitation, problem-solving, data interpretation, confidentiality, ethics, collaboration, and communication skills. The position includes mandatory paid training at the Correctional Training Academy and offers medical, dental, vision, retirement, leave, and other benefits.
