The Montgomery County Department of Correction and Rehabilitation is offering an internal promotional opportunity for Correctional Supervisor – Sergeant, open only to current DOCR employees. The expected salary is $80,362. Candidates must currently be a Correctional Officer III – Corporal with two years of satisfactory experience as of the December 18, 2026 closing date, hold a high school diploma or recognized certificate, and maintain a valid Class C driver’s license, Maryland Correctional Officer Certification, Firearms Certification, First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications. The 2027 promotional examinations consist of a written multiple-choice exam and an assessment center, with no make-up examinations.
