Description
The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office is hiring Corrections Deputies to work under direct supervision in the Hamilton County Jail and Detention Center, providing a safe and healthy environment for inmates and visitors and performing assigned security, booking, control, transportation, and other corrections duties. Applicants must be at least 21 years old, United States citizens, high school graduates or GED holders, and meet background, physical, psychological, medical, and Tennessee Bureau of Investigation requirements. The process includes an agility test, written test, interview, polygraph, investigative background, and medical and psychological examinations, with a $3,000 sign-on bonus paid in installments initially and at the end of the probationary period.
