The Travis County Sheriff’s Office is hiring Corrections Officers for secure jail assignments in Austin, Texas. The role provides safety, security, and welfare for inmates, staff, visitors, and the public, including inmate searches, counts, movement control, security checks, crisis response, recordkeeping, and support for other jail operations.
