Eversource is hiring one Corrosion Technician to monitor, test, inspect, and maintain cathodic protection systems for gas facilities. The role includes evaluating corrosion records, operating specialized instruments, troubleshooting systems, directing contractor work, inspecting new gas-piping coating applications, and maintaining corrosion software. Applicants need a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to pass applicable Federal Operator Qualification tests and Time Merit Progression steps, knowledge of electrical theory, chemistry, corrosion theory, gas distribution operations, and applicable codes, plus a valid motor vehicle operator’s license. The position pays $35.64 per hour, is safety-sensitive, and requires union membership.
