Nevada Gold Mines is hiring a Senior Environmental Engineer for its Environmental Team at the Cortez operation. The role leads closure planning, reclamation permitting, reclamation cost models, surety bonds, long-term trusts, regulatory compliance, monitoring data interpretation, and coordination with federal and state authorities. It also supervises Environmental Engineers and Technicians and requires a relevant bachelor’s degree, at least five years of experience in permitting, mine planning, environmental compliance, or reclamation/closure, and at least three years of supervisory experience.
