Description
The Cost Accountant will analyze material, labor, subcontract, and product costs to support cost planning and profit targets. Responsibilities include developing standard costs, maintaining the cost accounting system, providing cost estimates, coordinating with Engineering, preparing inventory and budget reports, resolving journal entries, supporting inventory accuracy, and participating in monthly and annual closing. The role requires a bachelor's degree in Accounting and six years of cost accounting experience in product manufacturing, along with Microsoft Office and Excel proficiency, accounting and manufacturing knowledge, and strong analytical and organizational skills.
