Description
The Cost Accountant partners with operations, manufacturing, procurement, outside processing, and inventory control teams to reduce costs, improve gross margin, and maintain accurate inventory valuations. The role manages cost accounting transactions under US GAAP, supports P&L preparation, reviews standard costs, prepares margin analysis, leads inventory counts, and assists with forecasting, budgets, ERP upgrades, and Lean initiatives. Candidates need a BA in Accounting or Finance, at least two years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, and strong accounting, Excel, and project-coordination skills; Infor Visual Manufacturing and Infor Global Financials knowledge is desirable. The pay range is $72,000 to $95,000 depending on experience.
