Description
The Cost Accountant evaluates cost allocation methodologies, validates financial data, and ensures compliance with 2 CFR Part 200 and client requirements for federal grants. The role reviews Cost Allocation Plans and Indirect Cost Rate Proposals, reconciles cost data, identifies unallowable costs, supports financial reporting, and collaborates with internal teams and grant recipients. It requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, at least seven years of accounting, finance, or grants management experience, direct and indirect cost allocation experience, federal government experience, and strong Excel and financial-system skills.
