Description
The Cost Controller will monitor, analyze, and optimize operating costs for a portfolio of vessels under ship management. The role performs granular variance analysis, reviews purchase orders and backlogs, tracks variation orders, produces financial analyses, challenges operational teams on cost performance, supports budget arbitration, coordinates accruals with accounting, and leads vessel budget preparation. The position requires a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or equivalent, 3–8 years of operational controlling experience, strong accounting and analytical skills, reporting and KPI production, advanced Excel and ERP skills, and business partnering and leadership abilities.
