Description
Spirit Energy is hiring a Cost Controller for a two-year PAYE contract at Barrow Gas Terminal in Barrow-in-Furness. The role supports the Cost Control Lead with budget control, cost reporting, accruals, OPEX forecasting, SAP data analysis, variance analysis, timewriting, procure-to-pay, purchase orders, change orders, and service entries. It requires SAP experience, Microsoft Excel competence, strong numerical and analytical skills, and an HNC in Business Management or equivalent professional development; experience in finance, cost control, commercial administration, or the oil and gas sector is desirable. The position follows a hybrid arrangement requiring four office days, with compulsory days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
