Description
The Cost Engineer will provide technical and financial substantiation for proposals involving ships, maritime equipment, and maintenance, including defense projects. The role analyzes customer specifications and RFQs, prepares detailed cost estimates, evaluates supplier quotations, identifies technical and financial risks, develops alternatives, and collaborates with sales, proposals, engineering, planning, and suppliers. Candidates need higher professional education, at least three years of maritime-sector experience, relevant cost-engineering experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and excellent Dutch and English. The position offers a gross monthly salary of €4,300–€6,000, hybrid working, and other benefits.
