Description

The Costs Negotiator will manage a caseload of complex injury costs claims from receipt through settlement, including case review, strategy formulation, dispute preparation, telephone negotiations, client reporting, court advocacy, and detailed assessment. The role also supervises and mentors junior costs negotiators, delegates tasks to a paralegal, and supports compliance with SRA standards. It requires at least 12 months of experience in a similar costs negotiator role, a degree or LPC/ALCD, client liaison experience, detailed assessment experience, negotiation and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft packages. The role is based primarily in the Bolton office and runs 28–35 hours per week.
