Equitable is hiring a Wealth Management Counsel in its Charlotte, North Carolina office to advise the Wealth Management business on acquiring books of business and other transactions. The role structures, drafts, and negotiates commercial agreements, supports advisor onboarding and acquisitions, reviews restrictive covenants and candidate applications, partners with outside counsel, and identifies legal and regulatory risks. It requires a Juris Doctor, active bar membership, five years of relevant legal experience, and experience with wealth management or financial-services environments. The position offers a hybrid schedule with two to three on-site days per week and a targeted total compensation range of $220,000 to $274,000, plus medical, dental, vision, retirement, and paid-time-off benefits.
