Description
BHSN is hiring a Counselor Assistant to support residents of an OASAS-licensed community residence in maintaining sobriety and developing recovery and independent-living skills. The role performs screening, orientation, case management, crisis response, intake, group co-facilitation, psycho-education, referrals, care coordination, reporting, documentation, and other resident-support duties. It is scheduled Wednesday through Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., requires a high school diploma or equivalent, relevant training, CPR certification, a valid New York State driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to move quickly throughout the residence.
