Description
The Job Corps Counselor will plan, coordinate, and implement individual and group counseling programs for assigned students at the Joliet Job Corps Center. Responsibilities include reviewing student files, conducting interviews and assessments, maintaining records, providing personal and career counseling, coordinating referrals and problem cases, supporting career and social-skills programs, and maintaining contact with families and community resources. The role requires a bachelor's degree with 15 semester hours in social services-related instruction, one year of counseling or related experience, youth experience, communication and computer skills, and a valid driver's license.
