Description
The Human Development Counselor provides instruction and counseling services to students at El Paso Community College, including academic advising, goal setting, career exploration, orientation, registration, degree planning, counseling, student records, and liaison work with faculty and agencies. The role requires in-person campus work, a master's degree in counseling or an equivalent counseling education credential, professional counseling experience, community-college counseling experience, and the ability to use technology in a counseling environment. It is a part-time, semester-by-semester faculty position with day, evening, and weekend classes.
