Description
The Counselor Supervisor will supervise Counselors and Counselor Interns providing treatment and casework services to patients in an outpatient substance use treatment setting. Responsibilities include ensuring timely documentation, identifying physical, psychological, social, and spiritual patient needs, maintaining compliance with laws, policies, and funding expectations, managing expenditures within the budget, and traveling as necessary. The role requires an LMSW, LCSW, or LPC license, treatment-plan and charting ability, strong communication skills, and a positive, non-judgmental approach to patients; prior experience with chemically dependent individuals is a plus.
