Abacus Technology is looking for a full-time Counter Access Analyst to join the AFCENT Network Operations and Security Center (NOSC) at Shaw AFB. The role involves building network profiles, utilizing various cybersecurity tools like IDS/IPS and endpoint security systems to mitigate threats, assisting with analyst training, conducting proactive cyber hunts, analyzing network traffic for vulnerabilities, performing threat emulation testing, developing countermeasures, conducting forensic investigations, collecting digital evidence, coordinating with other teams, examining logs, identifying security breaches, and documenting findings in written reports. The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in network and cyber security, a bachelor's degree, and certifications such as Security+, Network+, CCNA, and ITIL v3/v4 Foundation.
