KAYA is hiring a Country Director to lead its operations, legal, finance, and human resources teams in Tanzania and serve as the company’s regional ambassador in eastern Africa. The role will establish the country office, develop conservation and restoration projects, coordinate with the Co-founders and Berlin Head Office, liaise with government and public offices, and ensure compliance. Candidates should have at least five years of experience leading environmental country or regional programmes, experience managing multiple teams, financial planning and executive reporting, and strong government relations skills; French, Swahili, and eastern Africa experience are desirable. The position is based in Arusha or a mutually agreed location in Tanzania.
