Description
The County is hiring a CountyRide Bus Driver to operate passenger buses transporting elderly, disabled, and rural residents to medical appointments, senior centers, and other activities in Baltimore County and Baltimore City. The role includes collecting fares, assisting passengers, performing vehicle safety inspections, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, operating wheelchair lifts, and completing incident reports. Applicants need a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Maryland Class C driver's license, knowledge of traffic regulations and road maps, and the ability to follow instructions and work with passengers. Non-Maryland residents must be at least 21 years old, and employees must complete CPR and First Aid training and maintain NIMS certification.
