Description
The Courier/Dispatcher role supports DMC University Laboratories by serving as an alternate courier and STAT courier, performing dispatch and office operations, monitoring and optimizing routes, assigning STAT and will-call runs, and picking up and delivering specimens, reports, supplies, equipment, and other materials to designated sites and clients. The role also involves vehicle maintenance, route-sheet maintenance, client communication, and occasional in-charge responsibilities. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Michigan driver's license with an approved Lansing driving record, driver eligibility for operating-unit vehicles, and six to twelve months of related courier or driver experience.
