Court Reporter at U.S. Courts

The United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia is hiring an Official Court Reporter in Atlanta, Georgia. The role reports verbatim testimony of court proceedings, reads back court records, works under pressure, and produces transcripts according to the Judicial Conference fee schedule and the Court Reporter Management Plan. Travel to other locations within the district may be required. Mandatory qualifications include at least one year of prime court reporting experience, qualification for listing on the National Court Reporters Association registry or passing an equivalent examination, and proficiency with Computer Aided Transcription equipment. Registered Merit Reporter and Certified Realtime Reporter certifications are preferred. There is no minimum education requirement.
