Description

The Courtroom Deputy assists judges by managing caseloads, docketing and scheduling, monitoring deadlines, attending court sessions, coordinating participants and exhibits, supporting jury selection, drafting orders and judgments, maintaining records, and serving as a liaison among the judge, clerk’s office, counsel, the bar, and the public. The role requires U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency, a high school diploma or equivalent, general and specialized experience, strong organizational and communication skills, computer proficiency, confidentiality, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Candidates may be selected provisionally pending a background check and favorable employment suitability determination.
