Intercare is hiring a full-time Coverage Behavior Technician in Long Beach, California, for a year-round floating support role across School Services and Behavioral Health programs. The position targets 30 hours per week, including 6 hours per school day during the regular school year, with coverage assignments that may last from one to 30+ days. Responsibilities include implementing IEPs and behavior intervention plans, providing individualized behavioral intervention, using Applied Behavior Analysis and crisis management procedures, collecting behavioral data, supporting staffing and onboarding, and serving as a peer support partner. The role requires at least two years of behavioral intervention, ABA, special education, or related experience, CPI certification or willingness to obtain it, reliable transportation, and travel up to 15 miles one-way within the assigned region.
