Description
Google is hiring a CPU architecture and performance architect to improve processor instruction set architecture, develop microarchitecture features, and contribute to advanced SoC products. The role focuses on performance modeling, micro-benchmark development, pre- and post-silicon performance correlation and debugging, CPU subsystem configuration, and collaboration with RTL, verification, physical design, power, thermal, security, and software teams. The position requires a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, eight years of high-performance microprocessor architecture experience, and experience with instruction set architecture, machine learning, branch prediction, performance modeling, and C/C++ or Python.
