Description

This role is for a CPU architect/design engineer focused on RISC-V CPU core generators. The engineer will architect, design, and implement new features, performance improvements, and ISA extensions; develop microarchitecture specifications; perform sandbox verification; collaborate with design verification, physical implementation, and performance modeling teams to meet frequency, area, power, and performance goals. The posting seeks an experienced hardware designer with deep CPU architecture knowledge, RTL proficiency, and strong collaboration/documentation skills.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Master’s or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
Required Previous Experiences: 8+ years of recent industry experience in high-performance, energy-efficient CPU design
Successful CPU development from architecture through tapeout
Preferred Qualifications: RISC-V architecture knowledge
