Description
The CPU Performance Architect will join Apple’s CPU Architecture and Performance Team to advance next-generation iPhone, iPad, and Mac CPU architectures. The role focuses on branch prediction, code and data prefetchers, prediction schemes, pipeline optimization, workload analysis, bottleneck identification, and the development of implementable micro-architecture ideas through modeling, simulation, and collaboration with CPU designers. The position requires a BS degree, CPU architecture and micro-architecture experience, performance and power simulation experience, and scripting experience in Perl or Python.
