Description
Apple is hiring a CPU Physical Design and Integration Engineer to participate in the physical design, integration, and verification of high-performance, low-power processor development. The role includes block partitioning and pin placement, chip-level place-and-route, final CPU layout database construction and verification, tapeout signoff, SOC collaboration, flow development, and scripting to automate tasks and improve debugging, including genAI initiatives. A minimum bachelor's degree, place-and-route and physical verification experience, and scripting-language experience are required; knowledge of physical design tools, Python, CMOS design, layout, extraction, STA, and EMIR concepts is preferred.
