Qualcomm is hiring an experienced CPU Software Engineer to design and develop low-level firmware for CPU bootstrapping, power management, debugging, and idle and active power control. The role involves coordinating high-performance CPU software debugging, defining software architecture roadmaps aligned with ARM and RISC-V ISA evolution, and representing Qualcomm in engagements with ARM, RISC-V, and third-party software partners. The position requires a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in a relevant engineering or computer science field plus 6–8 years of software engineering experience, along with 4+ years of experience with C, C++, Java, or Python. The disclosed pay range is $197,000 to $295,400.
