Description
The role operates a 400-ton crawler crane safely and efficiently on construction, industrial, oil and gas, shipyard, or infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include executing approved lift plans, conducting pre-start and routine inspections, verifying loads, ground conditions, crane configurations, and lifting radii, coordinating with riggers and supervisors, reporting defects, maintaining records, supporting mobilization and demobilization, and stopping work when unsafe conditions arise. The position requires a recognized crane operator license or certification, heavy equipment operator certification where required, and at least five years of crawler crane experience, including two to three years operating cranes of 200 to 400 tons or more.
