Description
The offshore Crane Operator loads, unloads, and moves materials and large objects using a crane in a safe manner. Responsibilities include operating crane controls, inspecting equipment, checking load weights against crane capacity, using hoisting attachments, communicating directions, maintaining the work area, and following safety rules and personal protective equipment requirements. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of crane operating experience, third-party crane-operator certification, basic written and verbal skills, basic mathematical ability, reliability, and successful completion of Performance Energy Services employment qualifications, background investigation, drug screen, and required training. The position involves outdoor weather conditions, loud noise, and frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts and airborne particles.
