Description
The Ingot Production Operator performs documentation, housekeeping, material stocking, ingot identification, mold stripping, furnace loading and unloading, annealing-cycle coordination, shift assignment coordination, and maintenance support in a steelmaking environment. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years of heavy equipment operation, and preferably 1–2 years of overhead crane operation; it involves physically demanding work in extreme weather, airborne particles, fumes, and loud noise.
