Description
Counseling In Schools is hiring a full-time Licensed Creative Arts Therapist to provide creative arts therapy, individual, group, and family counseling, crisis intervention, and afterschool enrichment for elementary and middle school students. The role also supervises art therapy interns, coordinates intern responsibilities, maintains CIS and DYCD documentation, and reports to the Program Director. The position follows the NYC Public Schools calendar, requires LCAT and ATR credentials, supervisory experience, and strong communication and leadership skills; experience in school-based, afterschool, crisis intervention, and intern supervision is preferred. Compensation is $65,000–$73,000, with medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a transit check program, and a 401(k) plan.
