The role produces feature stories, blogs, speeches, news releases, media advisories, articles, newsletters, advertisements, web and social media content, presentations, award entries, internal communications, video scripts, and podcast materials. The writer will research and fact-check, adapt government messaging for different audiences and media, meet multiple deadlines, and collaborate with a five-member content team. A bachelor's degree in journalism, English, mass communications, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent training and experience, is required, along with a valid driver's license, background checks, and drug testing. The position is Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional weekend, evening, or emergency work.
