Description
The Credentialing Coordinator processes initial and reappointment applications, verifies practitioner credentials, maintains credentialing records and databases, performs quality-control audits, monitors expiring licenses and certifications, and supports credentialing committees, audits, and regulatory surveys. The role requires a high school education or equivalent, knowledge of major credentialing standards and medical staff regulations, and preferably five years of credentialing experience, a related bachelor's degree, and NAMSS certification. The position pays $30.16–$47.01 per hour.
