Description
This role is responsible for receiving, processing, and documenting human remains and cremated remains in compliance with company policies and all applicable federal, state, municipal, and licensing regulations. The position involves respectful care of the deceased during the cremation process, maintaining chain-of-custody and state-specific records, operating and maintaining crematorium equipment and adjacent facilities, and may include delivering cremated remains to authorized parties. The job requires a high school diploma or equivalent, an apprenticeship-level amount of experience, certification as a Crematory Operator where required, and strong compassion, communication, computer, and problem-solving skills.
