Description
The Crematory Operator receives and processes human remains, completes cremation documentation, maintains chain of custody and company records, operates and maintains cremation equipment, and may deliver cremated remains to authorized funeral homes or authorities. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a funeral service or mortuary science program where required by state law, one to three months of apprentice experience, and certification as a Crematory Operator where required by state law.
