Description
The Crematory Operator operates cremation equipment and chambers, receives and verifies decedents, follows cremation procedures, cleans and maintains crematory equipment, maintains records and inventory, and supports cremated-remains delivery. The role requires a valid Crematory Operators license, a valid state driver’s license, and at least one year of preferred experience; it involves outdoor work in extreme temperatures, heavy lifting, chemical and bloodborne-pathogen exposure, and occasional overtime.
