Description
The Harris County Flood Control District is hiring a full-time Crew Leader to lead and supervise field maintenance crews performing channel clearing, debris removal, herbicide spraying, and other stormwater infrastructure work. The role includes assigning tasks, operating equipment, preparing trucks and safety equipment, conducting job-site safety analyses and tailgate meetings, and documenting production. Candidates must have a high school education or equivalent, at least three years of field maintenance or related experience, one year of field supervisory experience, and a valid Class C Texas driver's license. The position is based at Prairie Oak Drive or Almeda Genoa Road in Houston, Texas, and is subject to a criminal history check and drug screen.
