Description
The Linn County Sheriff's Office is hiring Criminal Patrol Deputies to patrol roads, waterways, business and residential areas; enforce traffic, criminal, civil, county and municipal laws; investigate accidents and crimes; make arrests; serve warrants and other process; assist with search and rescue; and support court and evidence-related duties. The posting is for lateral applicants who are currently certified or eligible to be certified as Oregon Police Officers without attending the Basic Police Academy, and it requires a high school diploma or GED, United States citizenship, a valid driver's license, physical and psychological screening, and completion of required training.
