CSSNV is hiring a full-time, non-exempt Crisis Intervention Support Specialist to provide 24/7/365 phone and text-based crisis and suicide prevention support, assess high-risk callers, and provide referrals for child and elder abuse, substance abuse, and other human and social services. The role offers graveyard, day, and swing shifts with compensation of $21 per hour for graveyard and $20 per hour for day and swing, plus benefits. Candidates should have prior call-center, crisis-hotline, or information-and-referral experience; related college coursework is a plus. New employees must complete 73 hours of training and pass state and federal criminal background checks. In Reno or Sparks, Nevada, in-office opportunities may be available, while Nevada residents may work remotely from a secure, confidential workspace.
