Description

STACK is hiring a Critical Engineering Manager - Electrical to lead and supervise electrical, fire life safety, base building, and other data center systems for its KIX01A facility in Seika-cho, Kyoto Prefecture. Reporting to the Site Operations Manager, the role oversees facilities engineering and maintenance teams, contractors, vendors, safety and compliance programs, operational reporting, troubleshooting, and capital-improvement projects. The position requires 6–8 years of data center or related mission-critical operations experience, electrical and mechanical systems expertise, team-management experience, and the ability to work on-site, including weekends, late nights, holidays, and on-call support.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 6–8 years of data center or related mission-critical operations experience
Experience managing a team of at least 5 people
3–5 years administering and managing facility preventative maintenance programs
Extensive operational knowledge of electrical distribution and power systems
High-level operational knowledge of mechanical and cooling systems
HV handling licenses or authorizations
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Electrical or mechanical trade license or certification; dual trade preferred
Business-level English communication skills
