Microsoft is hiring a Critical Environment Technician for its Cloud Operations & Innovation team to maintain and operate critical datacenter infrastructure. The role involves inspecting and supervising electrical, mechanical, controls, HVAC, generator, and other critical environment equipment; performing planned, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance; responding to onsite incidents; coordinating with facilities professionals; using CMMS and telemetry; and following safety and standard operating procedures. The position requires a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent plus mission-critical services or applied learning experience, or equivalent experience, and offers ongoing applications until filled.
